2,5-Norbornadiene: 
At present, we have finished the research and development of 2,5-Norbornadiene (2,5-NBD) with Cyclopentadiene and acetylene as materials, and have put into industrial production successfully. 2, 5-Norbornadiene is a kind of flammable liquid, soluble in petroleum ether, insoluble in water. Its commodity contains 500 ~ 3000 PPM of 2, 6-di-tert-butyl p-methyl phenol as stabilizer, relative density 0.909 (20 ℃), boiling point 89 ℃. Now, 2, 5-Norbornadiene is mainly used as the intermediate of high-energy fuels, new pharmaceutical intermediate, spice intermediates, pesticide intermediate and high-performance polymer monomer. As a high-energy fuel intermediate, its Norbornadiene dimer is the densest hydrocarbon (1.093 g/cm3 density) among used fuels, its combustion heat value can reach 49.9 MJ/kg. In the field of national defense and aerospace, it can be used as the high energy fuel of missile and rocket. As a new type of pharmaceutical intermediate, it is mainly used for the preparation of new class of drugs, which are represented by new anaesthetics; as a high performance polymer monomer, it is mainly used for the preparation of new resin materials with superior performances. The another important use of 2, 5-NBD is light energy storage, it can absorb or release 69 kj/mol of light energy. 2, 5-Norbornadiene is also applied to stereoscopic structure control agent of olefin polymerization and ligand of homogeneous precious metal catalysts.

 

 


2-Norbornylene: 
At present, we have finished the research and development of Norbornylene (NB) with Cyclopentadiene and ethylene as materials, and have put into industrial production successfully. The chemcial name of Norbornylene (NB) is Bicyclo[2.2.1]-2-heptene; Molecular formula C7H10, molecular weight 94.16, boiling point 96 ℃, melting point 44 ~ 46 ℃, flash poin 15 ℃, density 0.950 g/cm3 , refractive index 1.4475, under normal temperature, it is a white diaphanous crystal, easy to sublimation. 2-Norbornylene is mainly used as the monomer of cycloolefine copolymer and pharmaceutical intermediate.

2-methyl-2-Norbornylene: 
At present, we have finished the research and development of 2-methyl-2-Norbornylene (MNB) with Methyl cyclopentadiene and ethylene as materials, and have the ability to put into industrial production successfully. 2-methyl-2-Norbornylene: Molecular formula C8H12, boiling point 118 ~ 118 ℃; now, it is mainly used as the monomer of cycloolefine copolymer and pharmaceutical intermediate. 

1,3,5-Cycloheptatriene:

At present, we have finished the research and development of1,3,5-Cycloheptatriene (CHT) with Methyl dicyclopentadiene and acetylene as materials, and have the ability to put into industrial production successfully. CHT is a kind of liquid, can become resinous substances if exposed in the air for a long time. Soluble in benzene and ethanol, insoluble in water. Its ethanol solution can change into deep palm red. The relative density 0.8875 g/cm3 (25 ℃), melting point - 79.5 ℃. 117 ℃ (99.86 kPa), refractive index 1.5208, flash point 3 ℃. Cycloheptatriene can be used as triplet quenching agent of rhodamine 6G dye laser.


Cyclopentanone
We are now conducting the research on the development of cyclopentanone with cyclopentadiene. The process features low pollution, high yield and high competitiveness. 
Cyclopentanone is the raw material for the preparation of new-type methyl dihydrojasmonate and buspirone. 

 
Synthesis of 3-Methyl-2-buten-1-ol
We are now developing the technology of preparing 3-Methyl-2-buten-1-ol with Isoprene. 
3-Methyl-2-buten-1-ol is colorless liquid, density: 0.85 g/cm3 (20°C), b.p.: 140.2 °C. It is mainly used as basic material for the production of pyrethroid and citral. 
 
Methyl-3-buten-2-ol:
Methyl-3-buten-2-ol is colorless liquid, density: 0.82 g/cm3 (20°C), b.p.: 96~98.5 °C. It is an important fine chemical intermediate used in the synthesis of DV-chrysanthemic acid orchrysanthemum monocarboxylate, methyl heptenone, isophytol vitamine A, carotenoid etc.
